All divisions are now full. Thank-you to everyone who has registered. This season has the most players ever registered in West Kelowna Minor Baseball's history!

 


Inside Pitch Camps - Rescheduled

 

Morgan Reiter, owner/operator of Inside Pitch Baseball Academy, is running a Power Pitching camp and a Hitting and Skills camp at the Mount Boucherie fields in West Kelowna. It is now being held on the weekend of June 9 and 10.

 

Power Pitching is for ages 8 to 15 years, and is held from 9:30am to 12:30pm both days. Cost is $85, with limited space.

 

Hitting and Skills is for ages 6 to 14 years, and is held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm both days. Cost is $85.

 

Both camps will be grouped according to age. Save $10 by signing up for both camps.

Team Sponsorships

 

West Kelowna Minor Baseball is looking for team sponsors from local businesses. Sponsorship includes an advertisement on our website with a link to your website, a banner with your business on it to be displayed at every game that your sponsored team is playing in, as well as a team picture for you to display at your business.

BCLC Funding

 

West Kelowna Minor Baseball is grateful for the continued financial assistance from the Province of British Columbia for our baseball program.

 


Kelowna Jays Billeting

 

Billet families are needed for the 2012 Baseball Season. The Jays will be playing several games at our Boucherie main field as part of the season in June and July. For further information, download this pdf file.

 


Season Schedules

 

T-Ball Division

T-Ballers play on Monday and Wednesday at 6pm at Chief Tomat Elementary School and Rose Valley Elementary School.

 

Tadpole Division

Tadpoles play on Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm at Chief Tomat Elementary School and Rose Valley Elementary School.

 

Mosquito Division

Games are played on any night of the week at 6pm at the Upper Boucherie Field and there are some weekend tournaments. There are one to two games per week. Practices are set by the individual coaches and could be on weekends, usually once per week. The final schedule will be given out by your coach.

 

Peewee, Bantam, and Midget Division
Schedules will be distributed by coaches.

 


 

Baseball BC Tryouts for Grades 8, 9 and 10

 

Players that want to try out for teams being put together by Baseball BC for the BC Summer Games (15U), Pacific Northwest Championship, and Bantam Selects Tournament, must attend one of the five Open ID Camps being held across BC.

 

Where: Elks Stadium

When: May 26 at 9:00am

Blue Jays Honda Super Camp comes to Kelowna, featuring MLB Hall of Famer, Roberto Alomar

 

These three-day camps offer children ages 10-16 – of all abilities – the ultimate Major League experience.

The Kelowna camp is scheduled to be held at Elks Stadium on July 9-11, at a cost of $230.

 

Alomar will join Duane Ward, Homer Bush, Lloyd Moseby, Rance Mulliniks, Kelowna native Paul Spoljaric, and Roberto’s brother Sandy Alomar as the guest instructors.

Midget AAA Baseball in West Kelowna

 

WKMBA is fielding a West Kelowna Diamondbacks Midget AAA team this season. This will be a first. We are excited to be offering this level of competition.

Association Name Change

 

We are pleased to announce that our new name has been officially approved. We are now known as the West Kelowna Minor Baseball Association (WKMBA). The web site and its forms now have new logos and a new web address, www.westkelownabaseball.ca.

 


Okanagan Athletics

 

The Okanagan Athletics is a non-profit society committed to providing an elite level of baseball for youth aged 13 to 18 in the Okanagan Valley.

 

They now have a new web site that provides news and schedules for each of their teams, www.okanaganathletics.ca.

 


RSS Baseball Academy

Kelowna Falcons 2012 Schedule

 

The Kelowna Falcons begin their 2012 season on June 6 in Longview, Washington against the Cowlitz Black Bears. Their first six home games start Sunday, June 10. To see the Falcons schedule, click here.
