Blue Jays Honda Super Camp comes to Kelowna
Be a part of the #1 baseball camp in Canada! These three-day camps offer children ages 10-16 – of all abilities – the ultimate Major League experience. It is scheduled to be held at Elks Stadium on July 9-11, at a cost of $230.

West Kelowna Recreation's Learn to Play Baseball
Get a head start on the baseball season! This introductory course teaches kids aged 7 to 9 the basics of playing baseball using foam balls and light bats that are designed for use indoors.

Association Name Change
We are pleased to announce that our new name has been officially approved. We are now known as the West Kelowna Minor Baseball Association (WKMBA). The web site and its forms now have new logos and a new web address, www.westkelownabaseball.ca.
Season Schedules
T-Ball DivisionT-Ballers play on Monday and Wednesday at 6pm at Chief Tomat Elementary School and Rose Valley Elementary School.
Tadpole DivisionTadpoles play on Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm at Chief Tomat Elementary School and Rose Valley Elementary School.
Mosquito DivisionGames are played on any night of the week at 6pm at the Upper Boucherie Field and there are some weekend tournaments. There are one to two games per week. Practices are set by the individual coaches and could be on weekends, usually once per week. The final schedule will be given out by your coach.
Peewee, Bantam, and Midget DivisionSchedules will be distributed by coaches.

WKMBA 2012 Winterball
Our Winterball Program began the week of Jan. 9, 2012 at the Sensisyusten gymnasium, 1920 Quail Lane, Westbank. The schedule is as follows:
Mosquito - Saturdays, 9:00am-10:15am PeeWee - Saturdays, 10:30am-11:45am Bantam - Fridays, 8:00pm-9:30pm Midget - Mondays, 7:00pm-9:30pm, at George Pringle Elementary School, 3770 Elliott Road
Cost: Mosquito and PeeWee - $50 Bantam and Midget - $75

Note: Those who did not play for WKMBA last year MUST first register for the 2012 season before they are able to play Winterball.
Midget AAA Baseball in West Kelowna
WKMBA will be fielding a West Kelowna Diamondbacks Midget AAA team this season. This will be a first. We are excited to be offering this level of competition.
Tryouts will begin in February with dates to be announced. Cost for the season will also be announced soon.
Those wanting to tryout are encouraged to come out to Winterball on Monday nights. As well, for those wanting conditioning, we will be announcing dates and times shortly. Stay tuned!

The Okanagan Athletics is a non-profit society committed to providing an elite level of baseball for youth aged 13 to 18 in the Okanagan Valley.
